Our Club Antherm ‘Cruden Water’

When the Folk Club was first established we met in the Louge Bar of the Kilmarnock Arms Hotel in Cruden Bay. We were required to wind things up by midnight on club nights and to help facilitate this Scott wrote an anthem for the club called ‘Cruden Water’. It touches on many key elements of village life past and present and is much loved by club regulars and visitors, and although it is not always used to wind up proceedings these days, it will always be an important part of our Folk Club.
